Almost Deer Attack, Bong Water, and Katy Perry

Hello, world! It's NocturnELLE, live from my Pepto-Bismol Pink Box Formerly Known as MY ROOM. I had some great times in this room. I'll always remember the color. Pepto Bismol Pink. Hahaha I hope wherever I go now, that I get a nice room. Yesterday (makes me think of The Beatles song, which I LOVE and have been playing a lot lately) was a somewhat eventful day, and with that, let the story begin...




I was outside the grocery store putting my book and make up bag away, and my mom is waiting for me with Jagger near the end so we can go for our walk around the outlet complex where the store is. All of sudden, she's like "Omg Elana what is that behind you? Is that a deer? Hurry, go look." so I see the back of it and go to follow it, the freaking thing comes charging at me nahhing. I shrieked and fell back on the ground and it almost crashed into Jagger, my baby puppy. The poor thing was sweating and it was running so fast it slipped when it saw me. It made me sad, I really REALLY hope it didn't get run over. Thank goodness it didn't bite us! Following that, a German Shepard tried to bite my hand off. It really WAS NOT my day. Things took a lighter turn when I bought a Red Velvet cupcake from Sweet Arlene's. 2 Time Cupcake War Challenge winner. Boy, was it yummy! Haha! My mom says she's lucky she got 2 bites in. I am really serious about her and I starting up our gourmet dessert catering company once  we FINALLY get our money back and our lives are restored! My mom had one a long time ago, but now I want to do it with her :).

  Last week, I ordered both the DVD and book copies of Bong Water by Michael Hornburg, but I hadn't started reading them when I had been greatly anticipating their arrival. I am a ravenous reader, I become lost in the world of the words on the pages.  Even my mom was surprised, she said she thought I'd be done with it by now. I FINALLY started reading yesterday, it's fantastic and so eloquently written!!! It's about this pot dealer and aspiring filmmaker (artist in the film) named David and his friends. They're post college grads, young 20's. The chapters alternate from being told in first person by David in Portland, Oregon. and being told in third person by his ex-roommate Courtney (Serena in the film) in New York. I am a little bummed, because it's a short read. I'm into long books. Hahaha :P. I'ts 189 pages, I actually stopped at 100. Probably because I had to finish packing. Anyways, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE GET THIS BOOK, PEOPLE!!! It was INSANELY cheap on Amazon.com. The movie is good, too. Luke Wilson plays David :D hehehe. This book really takes you inside the mind of somebody trying to figure out life and somebody trying to make an escape. It had a FABULOUS introductory quote that is so true: "Gotta get out of here, can't stick around, gotta get a ticket out of loser's town." I'd like to close with this darling picture. I'm SO excited to see Katy Perry and Buckcherry in concert next month! Here's a picture of Katy Perry at the 07.24.2011 premiere of her first movie "The Smurfs", in which she provides the voice of Smurfette. This entire ensemble was FREAKING AWESOME! SHE TOTALLY PULLED IT OFF. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE HER AND AM SO EXCITED TO GO TO THE CONCERT! OFFICIALLY OBSESSED WITH "FIREWORK"!!!!!!

Do You Believe in Life After Love?

Hello, world! Hope everybody is doing well. Remember my last post? Forget it! Well, the show is over, it's time to move on. That's all I have to say." In life, when something happens or ends, remember this: Take the good, bury the bad, and learn from the rest." It's the circle of life. We met people, fall in love (or so we think sometimes), and either we get married (some lead to divorce, others are everlasting) or break up. There's no such thing as a polite break up, just like there's no such thing as a polite lawsuit. We all have different reactions, some of those can be delayed. Crying, screaming, self-inflicting harm, binge eating, losing your mind, isolating yourself from the world or putting out as your only distraction. Some can turn into stalkers or just commit suicide. The aftermath can be nasty with the person you're no longer dating, but sometimes being friends can or can't work. I guess I'm indifferent. The point is, when you feel like you're at your lowest low without even the possibility of gravity being able to excavate you, it can be difficult to remember that you ARE NOT alone and that THERE ARE people in your life that ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT YOU AND LOVE YOU AND WORRY ABOUT YOU, HOW IT UPSETS THEM TO SEE YOU SAD. In the words of one of my idols, Cher, "Do you believe in life after love?" It may be hard to see it now, but there is. There are new adventures to embark on and new people to meet. Remember to take care of and believe in yourselves. I posted the video below as a reminder to all of you, plus some other fantastic songs <3. Delayed Heartbreak and My Latest Obsession...

Hello, world!!!! Hope everybody is doing well! I, unfortunately am not. I'm afraid I've become ill from a delayed reaction of breaking up with my boyfriend almost 3 months ago. We still love each other very much, but now he told me he's sort of seeing someone, and he's taking it slow to see where it goes. I became infuriated and upset, and for the past six days now I have been an absolute wreck! Hardly eating or sleeping, not being able to sleep until the early hours of the morning (between 6-9), crying, screaming, arguing with my mom, and perseverating. He is my first love and my first adult relationship.  He even he called himself somewhat of a loser. He told me he knew that my mom and Dillon and everybody were telling me that he wasn't the right one, and he told me he knew I could be with somebody so much better than him. He kept saying that we met when we were both at a point when we needed somebody in our lives. He told me I inspired him and changed him and how he wanted to be a better man for me, and how I was always there for him no matter what. The last time I saw him when we said good bye, he was crying. Not bawling, but I saw him tear up on the way back to my house and again once we got there. 

We finally had a heart to heart on Friday (Friday for me, Saturday for him). Basically it was me telling him how much he means to me and how much I love him and him telling me he loves me as a friend now, he told me he thought it wouldn't be fair to me if I carried on something long distance when he couldn't be here. He started consoling me because he knows I'm going through a hard time with so much going on, and before I left I told him he would always have a place in my heart and my life even if I'm not in his. I also said I'd rather have his friendship than his hatred and he asked why would he hate me and I said "It's because I love you so much." I asked him if he planned on permanently staying there and he said the only way he'd be able to stay in Australia was if he married a girl that lived there, and he doesn't plan on getting married until he's in his 30's. So that means that he's definitely coming back. Except earlier when I asked him if he meant we were gonna be just friend's for now or for forever and he told me who knows about forever. Although, he said that that girl wasn't his girlfriend :D ;). Hahaha

On the other hand, my new obsession: Luke Wilson! MEOW!

Hahaha he's been the flavor of the season ever since Taylor left. I never realized it how much Taylor looks like him. Kind of in Old School and when he has the shorter hair. Sooooo sexy, hot, gorgeous, I'm drooling just typing this sentence! Besides his looks, Luke is a really great actor. He's SO underrated. His performance in The Royal Tenenbaums was stellar, I love it!!! It's a really wonderful movie. It wasn't until Bongwater where I REALLY lost it. Luke's character was just like Taylor! The way he dressed and was a pothead and an artist and his body movements. The ironic thing is, Taylor has actually met Luke Wilson. Lol. I shouldn't be watching his movies because of how they remind me of T, but again, he's the flavor of the month! HOT DAMN! He definitely is somebody that can give me a cartoon reaction. You know when you stop dead in your tracks and your jaw drops and your eyes bulge out of your head and you make a combination of different sounds: There's the fog horn, the whistle and then the car horn. You know "Aougha-Aougha-Aougha" or "Hubbita Hubbita Hubbita WOW!" :P  Lol I'm writing a new screenplay, it has a very Wes Anderson feel to it. I'm excited to continue it, it's become very theraputic. Well, I'm feeling tired, I just got done working out for an hour and a half. I'm going to go to sleep (I hope I'll actually be able to fall asleep).
