Do You Believe in Life After Love?

Hello, world! Hope everybody is doing well. Remember my last post? Forget it! Well, the show is over, it's time to move on. That's all I have to say." In life, when something happens or ends, remember this: Take the good, bury the bad, and learn from the rest." It's the circle of life. We met people, fall in love (or so we think sometimes), and either we get married (some lead to divorce, others are everlasting) or break up. There's no such thing as a polite break up, just like there's no such thing as a polite lawsuit. We all have different reactions, some of those can be delayed. Crying, screaming, self-inflicting harm, binge eating, losing your mind, isolating yourself from the world or putting out as your only distraction. Some can turn into stalkers or just commit suicide. The aftermath can be nasty with the person you're no longer dating, but sometimes being friends can or can't work. I guess I'm indifferent. The point is, when you feel like you're at your lowest low without even the possibility of gravity being able to excavate you, it can be difficult to remember that you ARE NOT alone and that THERE ARE people in your life that ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT YOU AND LOVE YOU AND WORRY ABOUT YOU, HOW IT UPSETS THEM TO SEE YOU SAD. In the words of one of my idols, Cher, "Do you believe in life after love?" It may be hard to see it now, but there is. There are new adventures to embark on and new people to meet. Remember to take care of and believe in yourselves. I posted the video below as a reminder to all of you, plus some other fantastic songs <3. Until I write again, ciao and good morning, world! <3 Elana Jade Rebel

  1. Interesting playlist! Like I mentioned before, I realized just this year that I can't (for my own sake) do the "just friends" with exes even though I want to. It's just too tough when you've given a part of yourself to someone to revert back to a mere friendship. But that's just me...
Interesting thoughts and conclusions, and I hope that the good far outweighs the bad you need to bury in the coming months!

  2. Thank you, Josh!!! I'm big on Playlists. I understand where you're coming from, it can be really difficult! I totally agree with you, because when you're in a relationship, you've invested time and emotions and feelings with that person, you're not just going to throw it out as if it were debris. It can be frustrating to have it only be a friendship. Things change, but then again, one door closes, a window opens, but it's hard to remember that. Awww, thank you that's so sweet, I hope so as well :D
